Local and Global Partnerships
Matthew House is a member of the Canadian Council for Refugees , the City of Toronto Immigrant & Refugee Housing Task Group, the Coalition of Service Providers for Refugees Claimants (CSPRC) and was involved in the creation in the Red Cross' First Contact program.
We are proud to have been involved in the genesis of initiatives such as: Matthew House, Fort Erie; Matthew House, Windsor and Micah House (Hamilton).
The Executive Director and staff regularly speak at churches and other groups, educating the public about the plight of refugees and the need for people to reach out to them. Anne Woolger-Bell, our Executive director has also been a member of The Refugee Highway Partnership, a international Christian refugee ministry network.
