THE JOURNEY OF A REFUGEE CLAIMANT

Each year millions of refugees make the difficult decision to flee their homeland in search of a safe place to call home. A few manage to secure sponsorships ahead of time, but many, in desperation, seek protection upon arrival in a new country. In Canada, there are no formal support services for these refugee claimants, making their initial days very difficult.

THIS IS NASIMA'S STORY.
