Ride the Rouge for Refugees!

Sunday, October 5th, 3 to 5pm

If cycling and enjoying nature are your passions, please consider joining a group of us as we cycle the Northeast Trail of the Rouge National Urban Park!  This 21 km round-trip ride, which begins on Reesor Rd and Elgin Mills (east Markham) and loops back near the Uxbridge town line, takes you along beautiful country farm fields, through forests, creeks and marshes!  It's a gorgeous cycle for a lovely Fall afternoon (Sunday, October 5th!)

And as you ride along the well-maintained hard-packed limestone trails and boardwalks together with other enthusiastic riders (and even former refugees themselves), you can have the satisfaction of knowing that you are supporting refugee claimants with a warm welcome, shelter and a wonderful community and much more.

Our team's goal is $10,000

To join our team, email Derly at admin@matthewhouse.ca and let her know that you want to Ride the Rouge with us!

STEVE

I’m riding the Rouge to support refugees alongside Matthew House Toronto Founder, Anne Woolger.

Wherever I travel, wherever I live, refugees need and deserve compassion. I know firsthand the good work that Mathtew House does, and it gives newcomers the best start.
