Matthew House is making more space for refugees in downtown Toronto.

Housing in the City of Toronto is an incredible challenge to refugees, and requires new thinking about how to maximize space. At Matthew House Toronto, we’re taking steps to maximize our own usable space by constructing a multi-purpose laneway suite at our property at 981 Dundas Street West. The laneway suite will replace an existing structure on the property. The cherry blossoms of Trinity Bellwoods Park will be visible from its windows - a reminder of the perpetual beauty and hope that this city holds for so many people.

Together with our partners at R-Hauz and Superk**l, we’re making room for more refugees in Toronto.
